Our Mission
To Reach, Teach, and Value Each.
Our passion is to Reach those who have yet to receive Christ as their Savior. Our worship experience tries to engage every age group. We want to help everyone be able to lift up the name of Jesus. The mission field is outside the doors of the church, and God has called each of us to find ways to reach out.
2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent."
Next is to Teach those who claim Christ as their savior to trust Him, and to be obedient to the Word of God. We can’t be obedient to the Word if we don’t know it, and we can’t know it if we don’t study it. Our core task at Santiam Chapel is to teach the Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."
The third aspect of our mission is to Value Each. Loving people is key. We can accomplish nothing of value for the Kingdom of God unless love is our primary motivation. What we do and say must be done in a loving manner. As Theodore Roosevelt said, "No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care."
1 John 4:8 "But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love."
